Vegas on Wheels, a premier casino event rental company, has been a staple in the entertainment world for over 26 years. The founder, Bill Finn, didn’t initially set out to start a business in the casino industry, but his journey is one of passion, inspiration, and a love for providing people with unforgettable experiences.
It all began one day when Bill’s wife was working on the oncology floor at St.Luke’s. She had received free tickets to an auction, and they decided to attend together. Little did Bill know that this simple outing would set the wheels in motion for what would become his full-time business.
While at the auction, Bill sat next to Brian Noble from the Green Bay Packers. They found themselves bidding on the same piece of artwork, and in the middle of their friendly competition, Brian looked at Bill and said, “I really want this.” Bill, a man of integrity, quit bidding so that Brian could win. Afterward, they sat together at a blackjack table where Brian jokingly said, “Boy, this table’s garbage. Can’t you build something better?”
At that moment, Bill realized he had the skills and resources to make it happen. At the time, Bill was already working in manufacturing, producing payphone booths, newspaper boxes, and other items. His background in production and his connections in the industry made it possible to start building his casino tables and equipment.
Bill’s vision began to take shape, and Vegas on Wheels was born. What started as a small idea quickly turned into a thriving business that took off beyond his expectations. Over the years, Bill’s hard work and dedication to providing high-quality casino equipment and a fun, memorable experience for his clients led Vegas on Wheels to become a leader in the industry. In 2008, his oldest son, Dylan, joined the business and is now an integral part of its continued success. His daughter Alyssa joined the team in 2022 as sales and event manager and keeps the ship running smoothly. Bill is extremely proud to work alongside his children and continue to grow this business together.
As the company grew, Bill saw new opportunities. Today, he’s even exploring the idea of manufacturing craps tables, expanding his product line even further. “We’ve bought a building,” Bill said with a smile, sharing his excitement for the future. This new venture is just another chapter in the story of Vegas on Wheels, which continues to grow and evolve.
